Work and health are fundamental rights of the Italian Constitution. Which studies are more important than those on these issues? The University of Turin, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Epidemiology Service of the Piedmont Region, has created the WHIP-Health database for monitoring and studying the relationships between work and health histories in Italy.
The database has unique and precious qualities both for research and for institutions. Therefore, in 2013 it was included in the National Statistical Program. Metro-Polis is honoured to provide Big Data equipment and expertise to support this project.
